Clear your group, then sink the 8.
Beat all three to master the table. Each win unlocks the next challenger.
Eight-ball: one player takes the solids (1–7), the other the stripes (9–15). Pocket all of yours, then the black 8 – into the pocket you called. The table is open after the break: the first ball you pocket decides your group.
You keep shooting as long as you pocket a ball of your group without a foul. Otherwise it is the other player's turn.
The cue ball goes into a pocket · the cue ball hits nothing · it hits a wrong ball first (not your group – or the 8 too early) · after the contact no ball reaches a cushion and nothing drops. Then the opponent places the cue ball anywhere.
Pocketing the 8 before your group is cleared, with a foul, or in another pocket than the one you called loses the game. A pulsing ring marks the called pocket – click another pocket to change it.
Mouse: point to aim, then press and pull back (away from the target) and let go to shoot. The wheel turns the aim finely. Ball in hand: move the cue ball and click to place it.
Touch: drag on the table to aim; drag the power bar down and let go to shoot.
Keyboard: ← → aim (Shift finer) · hold Space for power, release to shoot · W A S D spin · Esc menu.
Spin: the little cue ball at the bottom right. High = follow (the cue ball runs on), low = draw (it comes back), left/right = side spin, which changes how it comes off a cushion.
