About this tool
Paste a JSON Web Token to see its header and payload, the claims with readable dates and whether the token has expired or is not valid yet. Verify the signature with a secret (HS*) or a public key as PEM or JWK (RS*, PS*, ES*), or edit header and payload and sign a new HS token. Unsigned tokens (alg "none") are flagged.
Tokens are decoded and verified in your browser and never sent anywhere.
