About this tool

Studiofish is a full digital audio workstation that runs right here in the browser - no installation.

Build songs on the arrangement timeline or jam with clips and scenes in the session view, Ableton-style. Play the built-in instruments (Nova virtual-analog synth, FM Keys, Sub 808, Sampler, Drum Rack, Drum Synth, Pluck String, Drawbar Organ) with your MIDI keyboard or the computer keyboard, shape the sound with EQ, compressor, multiband dynamics, transient shaper, reverb, delay, chorus, phaser, saturator, sidechain pump, lo-fi tape and more, sculpt it with a full set of filters (multimode, ladder, DJ, comb, vowel, resonators, auto filter), and draw automation for every knob.

Sound packs: drag a whole pack onto a track and get a drum kit with a smart pad layout, or browse kicks, snares, hats and tempo-synced loops by category. Add your own sample folders or ZIP packs from your computer.

Smart helpers write drum patterns, chord progressions, basslines and melodies in the key and style you choose; the piano roll highlights the scale, stamps chords and quantizes or humanizes your playing.

Connect MIDI controllers and map their knobs, faders and pads in one click, send tracks to hardware synths, record audio from your microphone, and export the finished song as WAV (with loudness normalization and stems) or MIDI. Projects are saved in your browser or as project files on your computer.

Studiofish is extendable: drop new sound packs or plugins (its own open web plugin format) into its folder and they appear automatically.
