Take A Number
A satirical first-person horror shooter. File your complaint. Wait. Then file it again, in several calibers. Adults only.
ACV Hesperus, colony vessel, voyage day 31,687. An alarm wakes Second Officer Kade. The ship's intelligence, CAIRN, is calm, polite and honest – and a little more wrong every week. Something out there flips bits in its memory every eight and a half seconds.
Dead Reckoning is a first-person, story-driven mechanical horror game. There are no monsters and no weapons. Restore power with a screwdriver, a multimeter and a handheld oscilloscope, open the armoured shutter, take a star fix by hand and find out where the Hesperus really is. Every repair is a real diagnosis, and the schematic is printed inside every cover.
The last departure window closes in a few hours. The numbers for the burn don't close. Someone has to decide who does not wake up.
Needs a desktop browser with WebGL 2, a keyboard and a mouse. Headphones recommended. Contains disturbing themes (death, loneliness, suicide).
