Password Generator & Strength Check
Cryptographically secure passwords and pronounceable passphrases with entropy readout – plus a local strength analyzer with crack-time estimates.
Encrypt a message with a passphrase and decrypt it again. AES-256-GCM is authenticated encryption that detects a wrong passphrase; the OpenSSL-compatible AES-256-CBC mode gives you text that any machine can decrypt with openssl enc -aes-256-cbc -pbkdf2 -salt -a. The key is derived with PBKDF2-SHA256 and an adjustable number of iterations.
Encryption happens in your browser – neither the text nor the passphrase is uploaded.
