About this tool
The SCEL License Manager creates and checks the signed release files of the SCEL license (version 1.4).
Keys: generate an Ed25519 key pair or import an existing one, compare keys by their short fingerprint and download the public and private key.
Issue: enter the license ID, approval codename, approved project, licensee details and designated folders, and sign. You get the release file, a detached signature, a self-contained verification bundle and the entry for your public registry.
Verify: paste a bundle, or the release file, signature and public key separately. The tool checks the required fields, the signature, the folder list hash and the license ID format, and can cross-check a registry entry.
All cryptography runs locally with the browser's WebCrypto API – no network requests. The private key is only held in this tab's memory, so export a backup before you close or leave the page.
