Poster Tiler spreads one large picture over as many sheets of ordinary printer paper as it takes – an A2 poster from A4 sheets, A0 from A3, a metre-wide panorama from Letter paper – and works out every millimetre so that the sheets fit together without a visible seam.
Around every seam the same strip of the picture is printed on both sheets. One sheet is cut at the seam and glued onto the glue strip of its neighbour; its own picture also runs a few millimetres beyond the cut, so a slightly crooked cut never leaves a white line. Crop marks, CUT and GLUE hints and every sheet's name, position and a small map of the poster are printed only where the paper is cut off or covered later – nothing of them shows on the finished poster. The Result view simulates the cut and glued poster before you print a single page.
Choose the poster by size (A0 to A4, B sizes, 50 × 70 cm, 24 × 36 in or any size), by the number of sheets, or by print resolution. Poster Tiler finds the fewest sheets, turns them whichever way needs fewer, tells you how close you are to a standard format and suggests a slightly smaller poster when that saves paper – four A4 sheets give about 88 % of A2 with normal margins, and exactly A2 on a borderless printer with butt joints. Paper from A6 to A0, B sizes, Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A3+ or your own size; your printer's real margins (a calibration page measures them, and checks the scale); overlap & glue or butt joints; which sheet lies on top; evenly spaced seams or full sheets first; trimmed or white outer edges.
Fit, crop, zoom and drag the picture, rotate and mirror it, adjust brightness, contrast, midtones and saturation, add a white frame – or turn it into halftone dots, colour dots, CMYK comic-print dots or mosaic tiles, which stay sharp at any size. Export a PDF with exact page sizes that asks to be printed at actual size, with an assembly guide for your layout and a 100 mm bar to check the scale; print straight from the browser; or download every sheet as a PNG or JPEG picture with its print resolution stored inside.
Opens JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and SVG – vector drawings are rendered sharp at the print resolution. Drop, paste or open a picture; it is never uploaded, and no account is needed.
