Gladbach Uprising
A brutal real-time strategy game: the desperate Gladbach Resistance against the Crooked Cops of a privatised police force. Mass battles, bridges, high ground – and blood on the streets.
The city's police has been sold to a listed company. POLICE AG runs Mönchengladbach like a balance sheet, and the CIVIL RESISTANCE – councils, unions, farmers, miners and street collectives – wants it back. Neither side is one army: eleven factions split the city, and roughly half of the districts lean towards each side.
Lead one of them on a turn-based campaign map of 28 real districts, from Neuwerk to Wanlo. Raise taxes or keep the peace, build up hubs from outposts to fortresses, recruit armies and commanders with traits and skills, send hackers, spin doctors and lawyers, and bargain with trade deals, pacts, alliances and vassals. Win districts over to your allegiance – or switch sides yourself. Grow too strong and the whole city turns against you.
When armies meet, take command on a top-down 3D battlefield: riot shield lines and barricade pikes against patrol cars and tractor columns, pepper-ball gunners and firework crews, drones, water cannons and sonic trucks. Formations, flanking, morale and routing decide the day – or let the battle be auto-resolved.
Single player against AI factions. Runs in your browser (WebGL 2). Your campaign is saved to your account when you are logged in, otherwise in this browser.
