Sector Sovereign
3D space strategy across a network of wormhole-linked star systems. Build platforms in planetary orbit, keep your fleet supplied and lead the Concord Navy against the Vyrr Brood.
Mönchengladbach, 2041. The bankrupt city sold its police to the security contractor ORDNUNG AG – and what patrols the streets now are the Crooked Cops: protection money, curfews, beatings, water cannons and attack dogs. In Rheydt, people decide they have had enough.
Lead the Gladbach Resistance – rioters with crowbars, militia with hunting rifles, Molotov throwers, pickup trucks with machine guns, car bombs, mortars, bulldozers, gliders and invisible saboteurs who move through tunnels – or the Crooked Cops with riot squads, K9 units, SWAT breachers, marksmen, water cannons, siege tanks, gunships and enforcer mechs. Mine cash from loot stashes and fuel from fuel wells, build bases, research upgrades and send armies of hundreds of units into battle (unit cap up to 400).
Rivers cut through every map: bridges can be built at bridge sites – and blown up, sending everyone on them into the water. Units below a cliff cannot see up and miss half of their shots uphill. Cloaked units need detectors. Blood, corpses, burnt wrecks and rubble stay on the battlefield (a reduced-gore option is available).
A six-mission campaign with heroes, story and changing sides, plus a skirmish mode with six maps for two to four players against computer opponents on three difficulty levels that expand, use abilities, build bridges when they have no other way and blow them up to stop a stronger army. Your campaign progress and saved games are stored in the cloud when you are logged in.
